  • Even though autumn with its beautiful colours can be surprisingly mild, first freezing days might as well occur, making your fingers numb and your nose running. This is an ideal time for warming yourself up with a bowl of good soup. Indeed, in these days you might use the following tip for an easy delicious creamy soup, both warming and filling. Its preparation is easy and will not take you much time. All you have to do is to stir fry onion on butter or oil and add your favourite vegetables – such as broccoli, carrots, celery, cauliflower or butter beans. Pour over with water or broth, season with spices and herbs (parsley, chives, Pascal celery) and cook until the vegetables is soft, then mix with a blender. For milder texture and taste add some cream and a nut of butter in the end. Before serving, put in crispy fried bread – and the delicacy is ready. If you are not fond of creamy soups, try traditionally popular beef stock with pearl barley omelette.
