First weekend of September (6‑7 September) various delicacies can be smelled in the gardens of Troja Castle, prepared on the occasion of Food Parade food and drink festival. Taking place already for the fourth time and this year jointly with International Cooks’ Day, the event will offer its visitors unique gourmet experience. The venue will host 20 top restaurants from Prague and its nearabouts as well as more than 25 farmers’ stands and stands with delicacies, preparing for its visitors degustation menus from the participating restaurants, selected treats and beverages. Last but not least, the festival will feature rich accompanying programme, completed with grand finale of the Food Cup Czech Specials Gastro Competition with the following competitors: Villa Patroit from Mariánské Lázně, Švejk U Pětatřicátníků from Pilsen, Faltus Brewery from Česká Třebová and Prominent Restaurant from Brno. As usual, two winners will be awarded – one selected by the jury, one chosen by you – participants of the festival, giving you also the chance to win a valuable prize.
Our Food Cup Czech Specials Competition aims at presenting the richness and beauty of Czech cuisine, while raising awareness of Czech regional gastronomy. Moreover, there will be also cook competition for the event visitors as well as gastronomy fans.
